1. Is there another way to set the green OK to Wake! time other than pressing and holding the button in real-time?

There is not. The Night Owl Portable Night-Light is designed to be used primarily as a portable night-light. OK to Wake! is included as an additional perk for those who would like to use the feature. Most families find that the OTW setting can be set once and then forgotten about. If the needs of your family necessitate that you adjust the OK to Wake! time frequently you may want to investigate one of our other products in the line which allow more granular access to this parameter via an LCD display.

2. The yellow lights on my base are not illuminated even though I have the AC adapter plugged in. What's going on?

First check to ensure that the metal tip of the AC adapter is pushed firmly into the receptacle on the back of the base. If it is, check that your outlet is working by plugging a lamp or other product into the socket. Note that many bedrooms have what are called "switched" outlets that are turned on and off via a wall switch. Check to ensure that your switched outlet is turned on, if you have one.
