The Neverlate is A/C powered and plugs into a standard 110V wall outlet (US/Canada model).

Two AAA batteries (optional) retain the time and alarm settings for several days in the event of a power outage.

The LCD uses a two-stage, dual-brightness backlit LCD. In its normal state the LCD emits very little light - it is just bright enough to provide the contrast necessary to view the display in the dark. Anytime the user interacts with the Neverlate, the LCD switches to high brightness for 15 seconds, after which time it returns to the low brightness state.

The Nap Timer function allows you to take a quick power nap without disrupting your usual wake settings. Nap duration is fully customizable (up to two hours) and the time remaining counts down in the sub-display for convenience.

Yes. The Neverlate Snooze duration is customizable (between one and thirty minutes).

The Neverlate contains what is called a "downward firing" speaker. Inside the unit, the cone speaker is mounted facing downward. Sound is emitted out of the bell-like opening in the front of the unit (rather than through a pinhole pattern on the side or rear) resulting in a comparatively fuller tone.
